my stay at la zebra exceeded my previous visits to tulum. the room was luxurious with stunning ocean views, and the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. the dining options were superb, especially the fresh seafood tacos that quickly became a favorite.

However, the air conditioning struggled at times, making the room uncomfortably warm. A few pesky mosquitoes buzzed around despite efforts to manage them. The beach area was beautiful but affected by some seaweed, making it harder to enjoy swimming. Overall, I felt the hotel's charm and service shone through, even with a couple of annoying issues.

Pest control needs work. I found a big cockroach in my room, which wasn't exactly pleasant. Additionally, the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool, and the lack of privacy with frequent housekeeping interruptions was off-putting. There were also no complimentary bottled waters provided, an amenity I’ve come to expect at similar places.
